The wife of a policeman is brought in after a reaction to the ecstasy she took to relieve the symptoms of Parkinson�s disease; though Lara wants to report the husband, Harry decides to let it go. Roxy gets involved with a patient who has an inoperable brain tumour. Colette challenges an elusive Simon following their tryst at the staff Christmas party, to find he thinks it was a mistake and they should forget it. But she tells Comfort she thinks her marriage to Josh is over.

The staff prepare for the christmas party. Lara treats a patient who has fell from the roof after fitting christmas decorations.
Lara talks to harry about Patrick confessing to him that it was around this time last year when she realised how she felt about him. She than carries on drinking until she is sick and goes to the toilet with Harry following her to make sure she is ok. Thay hug in the toilets as Beth walks in on them and demands Harry tells her exactly what has happened.
Jack talks to Nikki and they end up getting back together. Anna goes on a blind date and is angry when she finds out that he is married and its not the first time he has been out with someone whilst he was married.
A disillusioned Colette turns to Simon when Josh fails to turn up for the Christmas party. Josh meanwhile is trapped in a car with a mentally unstable man who has lost his wife; the car loses control and crashes into the ambulance shelter outside A&E. Josh escapes just before the car explodes.
