A family feud is laid to rest after two brothers-in-law end up in Holby A&E. Encouraged by Eddie, Jack blackmails a victim of his father�s empire into silence about where he got his injuries, to Tony�s disgust. Beth isn�t happy when Harry invites Lara to spend Christmas with them.

WPC Newcombe, who testified against Lara at her trial, is brought into A&E after being mugged; although she does not want anything to do with Lara she is grateful when Lara spots symptoms of TB early enough to save her career and her life.
Josh gets involved with a man who loses his wife and sons in a car crash � but while he stays with the man, Colette attends a charity auction with Simon, who buys her an expensive necklace. Josh comes to pick her up just as she is about to go for drinks with Simon. Harry also takes Lara to the auction who goes wearing a dress of Beth's and is not received warmly by the Chairman of the Trust Board.
