I Was Wrong
I thought this was love that was meant to last,
and I thought that you were the one.
Guess I was wrong,
cuz now you want to run.
Can't change your mind,
cuz you think it's the best for me.
I don't want to believe it,
cuz being with you felt so right.
But I guess I was wrong,
cuz the past few weeks all we did was fight.
It's time for ME to face the facts,
it's time to say goodbye.
Goodbye to the love we had,
goodbye to the love we made.
You want me to move on,
because you can't give me what I want.
Guess I was wrong when I thought you wanted a family,
a family with me and Amber.
Guess it's time to say goodbye,

Rough Times
We've been through some rough times,
and there are more to come.
But I can tell you this,
we're doing better than some.
I need you,
just like you need me.
If we hadn't met,
where would we be?
I love you with all my heart,
and that's no lie.
Without you,
my soul would die.
We compliment each other,
in all the right ways.
We've been there for each other,
even on the bad days.
I feel in my heart,
that things will be right.
And til that day comes,
I'll hold on to you with all my might.

Together Forever
When I think of you I just want to scream
then I look at Amber and my pride just beams.
When I look at her face I see you
and it makes me mad cuz I don't want to.
I see your cheesy grin and remember how I loved you
and the only words that come to mind are "thank you."
I wish things would have worked out
but we both know how we both liked to pout.
I guess things just weren't meant to be
between you and me.
I hope we can keep talking
especially now that our daughter is walking.
We both know we'll always share her
so I guess in a way we'll be together forever.

What I THINK and What I KNOW
I THINK of us & the things we shared,
and wish you were back in my arms so bad.
I THINK of the fun we had,
and wonder why I got so mad.
I THINK of the tears I've shed these past few days,
and wish I never would have said what I said.
I THINK of you with someone else,
and it breaks my heart.
I THINK of the day that you'll come back to me,
and hope we never part.
I may only THINK these things but there is one thing I KNOW,
without you in my life I'd fall apart.

Wondering
I sit here and think about you,
wondering if you are thinking about me,
I don't know how to feel about us.
The chemistry between us is too strong to deny,
but still I doubt and wonder if things will work out.
Different emotions race through my mind,
happiness, fear, sadness, madness.
I just don't know what to think,
so many emotions to deal with.
I feel so overwhelmed,
but still I go on.
I wonder what will come of this,
will things work out or will they end?
I feel so wonderful when I am with you,
just thinking about you makes me happy.
I wonder if this is worth all the confusion,
then I look in your eyes and all my fears and doubts disappear.
I guess I will just have to wait and see,
and keep wondering if you are thinking about me.

As I look out at the majestic sea,

It's always nice to get

I feel these things when I think of you
