Thunderbirds is a fun movie to watch, some people have said they didn’t like the credits at the start but I did, it was cool and colourful.
Think we could have done with seeing more of Virgil, Scott and Gordon, they were on earth during the original series and I would have enjoyed more on their back story instead of as much time being spent with the kids running around the island.
You could see why they left John out of pretty much everything, he did spend his whole time on the space station on the series so it made sense to banish him back up there for the movie but did the whole of the adult Tracey family have to go as well.
On another note the islands security really needs some work, yes the air vents were needed for the plot but who really has air vents that large.
Lady Penelope and Parker rocked and the mention of Parkers past would have explained how he knew how to open a safe door…which the Tracey’s used for their freezer (very strange people) and also why a butler knew how to fight as well as he does.
The use of a Puppet hand in one of the hand close ups was classic and Very funny and I totally loved the use of the theme on the mobile phones and every now and then when you saw one of the vehicles, if only we could have seen more of them.
