Assistant master of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu, the one who took Kenshin+Yahiko in and gets bummed off by Sano all the time, and Kenshin's love interest.

Damn... I was tempted to just leave her out... *growls* *gets shredded into pieces by irate racoon fans* *repents... or pretends to* OK, OK! It's only because she went all sobby and pathetic when Kenshin left for Kyoto! Damn, it makes my skin crawl to think about it. I can't even bring myself to re-read that part of the manga. Before at least she was funny and actually likable but after that!!!

Well, that's that. I can't fault her for being a violent and immature little girl because Misao is even more violent and immature, as well as being littler, and she just happens to be one of my favourite characters. >=)
