Please read this information before returning items.
DCW can not be held responsible for the loss of data due to hard drive
or other failures which may occur during the warranty period. If you
are unsure of the warranty on a specific item please ask before placing
your order. Most items we sell are guaranteed against DOA (Defective On
Arrival). This warranty period is 7 days from the date of your invoice
which is included with all shipments or 24 hours from the confirmed time
of arrival for items delivered via FEDEX. Your invoice must be presented for
any warranty work. DCW cannot be held responsible for any item physically
broken or damaged either by the customer or in transit. If your item was
physically damaged upon arrival please contact your local FEDEX center to
initialize a claim. We must have a valid claim number before we can replace
your damaged item(s).
RETURNING MERCHANDISE TO DCW
To return merchandise to DCW for warranty replacement of the same or
similar item of same or greater value you must first be assigned an RMA
number for return. ANY PACKAGE RETURNED TO DCW WITHOUT THIS NUMBER
CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED
TO THE SENDERS EXPENSE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Your assigned RMA number must appear on the OUTSIDE of the package under
the address. Any package returned without this number cleary visible on
the outside of the package will be refused at the senders expense. You
may contact DCW for an RMA number via e-mail anytime 24 hours at the
following address: [email protected]. Please allow 48 hours, excluding
weekends and holidays, for receipt of your RMA number. In your e-mail
please include your name, invoice number and brief description of
the problem.
Please be sure your item is defective before returning your merchandise
for warranty replacement. Appx 60% of the RMA returns we process are in
good working condition upon arrival. Any item found to be in good
working condition upon arrival will be returned to the sender at the senders
expense. Customer is responsible for properly packing and returning
items to DCW for replacement. Any item damaged due to improper packing
will void any warranty. Any items damaged in shipment back to DCW are the
customers responsibility. A valid copy of your original invoice is REQUIRED for
all replacements. All shipments include this invoice.
Be sure to insure your items for the full value. Customer is responsible for all
freight charges associated with returning items to DCW for warranty
replacement. DCW is responsible for all freight charges associated with
returning items to the customer. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for your
item to get back to you. This does not mean it will take this long
for your item to get back to you but it MIGHT. All RMA's are processed
as soon as we are able to test the incoming product and get a suitable
replacement.
RETURN ADDRESS
Return your items freight prepaid to the following address via UPS
or FEDEX. We strongly discourage use of the U.S. mail system for
returning items. An example of an RMA number is included.
