Take me for all that I am

I know that you are the perfect one

Possessing all to be desired

Don't disregard me

For they may sicken you

I know that I have numerous flaws

But please accept me

As I cannot change who I am

Our torrid affair will be renounced

For many people can see

That you are too good for me

You come from the land of affluence

While I am a mere waif

My fears of acceptance are high

I forever was an outcast

But knowing you has changed that
