1973 Opel Manta NCD 375
Welcom to the site dedicated to our 1973 OPel Manta A. Our Manta was brought home in the February of 1973 from the old GM factory in Las Pinas where SM Southmall is presently standing. Our Manta has a storied history. from being a daily driver for my father during his college days to being a full fledged race car complete with roll bars, port polish, double side down carburetors, full racing guages (like Vacuum, Oil pressure, Oil Temperature) and 305 R13 tires which my father used when he was still int racing in Ortigas during the 70's. My father then reitred the car, took out all the modifications and used it as a family car until it was stocked for so long, it became a junk. The Manta last ran on its own power in 1994 and it has been sitting under hte sun and being abused by the elements until yesterday, January 28, 2007. January 17, 2007 marks a new chapter in the book of our 33 year old Manta when people from a known auto shop took our manta for a complete restoration....
