| Qualifying Day Here it is, the day we wait for all week TGIF, the day drivers can reach their peak. Sometimes it's on Friday and sometimes it's not But it's a good chance, for them to show what they've got. The Bud Pole Award, one a lot of drivers have won Only sadly, it can only go to one. All day long, crews tweaking and twitching On the cars during practice, and even some switching. Engines and spark plugs, tires and such Looking for an edge, even if it isn't much. The crowds file in, to watch these guys test their cars It's a great chance to sit back and watch each of the stars. One lap or two, some tracks give a chance Hoping not to go out, from some odd circumstance. The field they will set, for the race on Sunday Here's to everything going their way!
