AN: Ok! This is my first story, so bear with me here! If ya like it please tell me here , if ya dont sorry... i came up with this story after having only 2 hours of sleep, so if something is confusing, you know why.... Enjoy!
"Good Mornin' Amanda!! Whats up?! How's life?!" Savannah replied with only a hint of southern in her voice.
Amanda had livid in Alabama all her life, resulting in her southern belle yet red-neckish. Savannah moved to Alabama, coming from Ohio, when she was 15, Amanda and Savannah's unbreakable friendship began when Savannah's mother had accidentally forgotten tp pick up some eggs from the local grocery store and had decidd to make pancakes before checking if she had all the ingredients. Savannah had gone over to Amanda's house asking for eggs and they immediatly hit it off. Later on Amanda introduced her to JT and in the next few weeks they became known as the "Three Musketeers" because of the extreme weirdness of never seeing one without the other two. After practically being attatched to the hip pf these two girls, there southern accents began to rub off on her resulting in the weird northern/southern accent she had aqcquired. "I am great! Wait... rewind....Im more than great!! Im so ecited about tonight! It's gonna be a total blast!" Amanda practically screamed through the phone. Savannah could tell that Amanda was smiling from ear to ear.
It was October 31st, also known as Halloween! Savannah, Amanda, and JT were now grown women (well kinda) finishing there last year at the University of Alabama (aka BAMA). Savannah was going for her teaching degree, Amanda was going for her veternarian degree, and JT was... well lets just say she is still "exploring" her choices. Tonight was going to be one of the best nights ever. All three were invited to the biggest Halloween on the BAMA campus. It had a reputation of being "The best party of the year". "Have you decided what your gonna be yet Manda?" Savannah asked while unwrapping the foil from around her breakfast, Reese cups (mmm..).
Well... i was thinkin' of bein' Dolly Parton from Steal Magnolias, but i just came to the realization my boobs aren't big enough," Amanda started laughing hysterically at her comment that she could barely breathe. She took two slow exhales and continued," but i think I'm gonna be Britney Spears or somethin'....tryin' to go with somethin' simple here."
"Well...ahem....that's cool....i guess..." Savannah said while raising her left eyebrow with the obvious face of "whatever". Savannah personally hated Britney Spears with a passion. If she ever saw that blond tooth pick she swore she would personally arrange a meeting for her foot and Britney's ass to meet.
"Ya.. ok Sav! I know you hate that girl and everythang but, I mean come on, I look like her!" Savannah paused for 3 seconds, blinked, and fell to the floor laughing with streams of tears coming from her eyes. "WHAT'S SO FUNNY!? The guys down at KFC always say that to me!" Amanda said becoming frustrated.
"Come on Manda! Your gonna believe a bunch of chicken-greased-horny-lil-bastards- that- are -only- looking- for- one -thing?! I thought you were smarter than that..." Savannah said while trying to catch her breath and wiping her eyes.
"O well... I don't care whacha think! You know what! I'm gonna go as Britney just to piss ya off!" Amanda said while sticking her tongue out as if Savannah was right in front of her.
"Do whatever floats your lil boat hun! You can't piss me off that easily!"
"Anyways Sav... as much as I love talkin' about me.... what are you gonna be? O yeah! Before i forget! JT said something about being a punk rocker or somethin' this year. Whatever it is, i bet it'll be an interesting site!" Amanda said while making her way towards the fridge to make the long and hard decision of either pizza for breakfast or pzza for breakfast.
"A punk rocker?! Good freakin' lord......but anyways... me.... me...," Savannah hopped up onto the kitchen counter and swong her legs back and fourth staring up towards the ceiling thinking. "I think I'll just go as a fairy princess or somethin'! I saw Martha Stewart make these cute wings from white pantyhose, wire, and feathers which are three things i have! Left over project supplies, gotta love em'! Ha ha! And I'll just wear one of my may prom dress and see where it goes from there. Cute and inexpensive! Two words i love in the same sentence!"
"Your such an artsy-fartsy girl!" Amanda said with a light giggle.
"ha ha! Ok, well this artsy-fartsy girl needs to get on with her costume! Talk to you later! Love ya! O! and tell JT to be at my house 7 o'clock sharp cause i know she'll be callin' ya in the next 5 minutes. And then we'll came and pick you up Britney!" Savannah said while making a slight cringe after saying that awful word..."Britney".
"Not funny! Alrighty! I'll tell her! Talk to you later then! See ya in a few hours! Kisses!" Amanda said and hung up. Savannah pressed the off button on her phone and placed it back in the cradle and made her way to her room to put together her Halloween costume.
