| 1) This is an Action/ Story RPG : Please DO NOT directly play along with the mission requirements (The mission requirements are just a baseline to get you on your way). Directly playing the mission out makes the duration of the mission very short lived and there is really no storyline development. Make up some side quests to go on that has relly nothing to do with the primary mission objkectives but will make the story a lot more interesting and suspensful. 2) Stay with the team you are assigned to, even if no one on your team is here at the moment. This means : -Do not just join a team that is ucrrently RPGing and assume that you are part of that team. -No teleporting instantly to different areas of the base to help out another team. (However you may teleport around the a rea that your team is currently in.) -No flying to different areas of the base to help out another team. (You may fly around the immediate area that your team is in, though.) 3) Please read the story line information carfeully. I know that this may be a bit tedious but at least skim through the other posts to know what is going on a round you. Don't just start posting events where YOU left off the day before or something. It is really confusing to your teammates. 4) Post responses logically. Follow the storyline and the other people's posts and just play along with that. If an event or a ction has been posted concerning the whole team and you really don't like it, play along anyways. Don't just ignore it. (Unless what was posted is really, really ridiculous.) 5) If you need to say something that has nothing to do with the story then say that you are Out Of Character (OOC) before saying it. 6) Don't make yourself sound like you are invincible and god-like. Please do not make your powers sound unbelievable/ unrealistic wither. Even if we are mutants and more 'superior' than humans remember that it's really not that easy to kill everyone (Say, you slaughter 10 guards by yourself n 30 seconds). The enemies were designed tough to kill so that you need your team members to help you out when you are outnumbered. Use your mutant powers in the battles but also keep the battle scenarios as real as possible. I know that this is a si-fi based RPG but it's more fun when you do have weak points that can be exploited. 7) Usually when we role-play in a team, you post something (an event or action) for your teammates to read and then wait for their reply BEFORE you post again. Please don't post something, an even or action, for your teammates. (However, you may post dialogues hat you are having with a team member.) This way there is no overlap of information and it lets everyone participate. 8) Remember that we do not know the layout/floor design of the area you are dropped off at. So, you will need to do a little bit of exploration work and 'side quests' before you reach your destination or complete part of your mission. (Kinda line video game RPG's) Just make up some idea quests as you go, and I don't just mean getting attacked by a large number of enemies. I mean side quests as in fitting in with the orignal storyline but also something that really has nothing to do with the goal of the mission. Just be creative. (Like one of your team members get captured by the enemy and the whole team has to rescue him/her before they can proceed with the mission.) I tried to pick commanders for each team that did have some experience RPGing .So, Commanders, please make up some side quests for your team as you go along (this also applies to whoever is in command of the team at the present time). Side quests make the story alot more interesting and fu to play. (Anybody can make up a side quest for their team, not just the commander or person in command.) *Please read this before you start the new part of this mission. It will make the role-playing more smoother so I won't have to post backtraks that will confuse the hell out of everyone.* |
