How it Works and Why: (This is the part about the unfairness.) All the Reserve Troop ranks have been eliminated leaving only 8 ranks on each sub-team. However, the maximum of people is still 10 per sub-team. The big change that I made is that now, any Commander can put more than one person per rank in all the ranks except for the rank of Commander. In other words, in a filled (10 person team) there will be only one Commander per sub-team, but there could be 2 or 3 (please try to keep it at 3 people per rank maximum for the higher rankings, though) people with the rank of Colonel, and 0 people with Sergeant, Corporal, and Private. The purpose of the rankings is to add to the overall RPGing experience by keeping the RPG team as close to what a group or organization in real life would be like. Now with the modified system, every member of D-X has an equal chance of obtaining a high ranking based on work and participation in the RPG. This also takes some pressure off of the Commanders since they no longer need to choose between 2 team members who are equally qualified for the same rank.

Promotions & Demotions The promotion and demotion policy has not changed. Every Commander is in charge of promotions and demotions for their own team; it is up to them to set the guidelines. I will interfere with this only if a Commander has disappeared for over a couple of months without an e-mailed or posted explanation. (I know that it will never come to this since I know that all Commanders are responsible people.)
Order of Command for Combat Teams: Commander Colonel Major Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Private I restructured the rankings so that they resemble real army ranks. I decided to keep Commander as the rank of the team leader, even though it is a Navy rank. I also took out both of the Reserve Troop ranks. Note that these rankings only apply to the Alpha Team, Bravo Team, Echo Team, and Omega Team.
Order of Command For Operation Teams: (Covert Operations and Special Forces: ) Commander Captain Colonel Major Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Private Since ops teams members are supposed to be from all branches of service, I threw some Navy ranks into the Army/Air Force rankings. The Commander and Captain ranks are both Navy but in reverse order (in the real US Navy, Captain is a higher rank than Commander) because I didnt want any confusion concerning the leadership of the teams since there is a Captain rank in both the Army and Navy. In D-X, Commander is a higher rank than Captain. Both Reserve Troop ranks have also been taken out.
Demolitions Team: Commander Colonel Major Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Corporal Private Since Demolitions is mostly an Army function, I decided to keep the rankings the same as with the Combat Teams. The Reserve Troop rank is also gone.
Marines: Commander Captain Colonel Lieutenant Commander Major Lieutenant Ensign Sergeant Since this sub-team is based on the Navy SEALS, I combined Air Force and Navy rankings. This is a pretty accurate combination (except the Commander and Captain switch) of the ranks in both services. As with all the other sub-teams I took out both Reserve Troop ranks.
