Title: Blue
Artist: Gackt
Specifics: 3:21 / 3.07 MB / J-pop / Instrumental: Piano
Opinion: As a singer myself, I usually have fewer instrumentals, but this is one that I had to have. It hooked me right from the start with a quiet, slow, almost wistful melody, and kept me hooked when it broke into the bolder, faster strains that make up a sort of refrain. Very worth it, particularly for those who like piano.

Title: Never Get Away
Artist: Ueda Yuuji (as Suboshi from Fushigi Yuugi)
Specifics: 4:28 / 4.1 MB / Anime: Character Song
Opinion: The beginning is deceptive, and I like that in a song. It opens up making me think that it might be upbeat, and it becomes an angry ode to an enemy who has hurt his loved one - pretty easy to figure that out. Fushigi Yuugi fans, this one is for you. Ueda Yuuji has a very versatile voice, there is some fun English, and the chorus is catchy!

Title: Geisha Dreams
Artist: Rollergirl
Specifics: 3:35 / 3.28 MB / Dance
Opinion: As a pronunciation Nazi, I was cranky at the pronunciation of "Tokyo" in this song, but otherwise, I like it very much. The lyrics are vague about the nature of the geisha, maybe; nevertheless, it is a portrayal that I can accept, and it shows that there is hardship behind the lovely mask. Not to mention the strong dance beat...

Title: Dam Dariram
Artist: Chevelle
Specifics: 3:14 / 2.97 MB / Dance: Dance Dance Revolution
Opinion: I was surprised at how much I liked this song. My first impression was more of a moderately-interested-but-not-fascinated bent, and then I slowly grew to like the song after listening to it more often. Having never played DDR, I would know nothing about that aspect, only that this is indeed good for dancing.

Title: Love Across The Ocean
Artist: Koda Kumi
Specifics: 3:36 / 3.29 MB / J-pop
Opinion: With the semi-rock undertones, there are parts of this song that differ greatly from the actual vocals. Even so, it's a song that could inspire head bopping (not headbanging; I'm sorry to say that it's not hard enough a song) and humming along. The vocals are nice, my personal favorite being the powerful chorus.
