Big Break 2004!

Big Break is a retreat I went to during Spring Break with about 40 other people from the USC Campus Crusade and 1300 people from other schools. We went to Panama City Beach for a week and that was definitely THE best break I have ever had (or at least, it compares very closely to my trip to Panama, South America in 2002). We got to minister to hundreds of people on the beach and many were saved. But that's not all that happened there. God worked in each and every person's life there, and we got to know each other better and help each other grow in their walks with the Lord. Everyone who came: y'all rock my world!

Above are Will, Matt, Kery and someone on the couch catching up on some sleep in the lobby before registration... As I took the picture, Will lifted his head to say: "Cut out that crap, Jude!" only to go back to sleep 2 seconds later... I learned a valuable lesson: don't wake Will up! :o) Just kidding, he wasn't being serious... I think!

I rode down with Elizabeth, Wil-liam, Nikki and Melissa. It was so much fun! I had a great time keeping you awake Elizabeth!

While many were sleeping, some of the girls decided to watch Uptown Girls. Here is Hannah, Stacey, Brittany, Shannon, and Nikki!

Of course, we couldn't have a girl time without taking a bunch of pictures... we stayed in that pose for about 15 minutes because every single girl had a camera and wanted her own copy of this picture... painful! We had so much fun though! We danced and talked and it was just great to hang out with all you girls!

This is at the other girl time we had. We painted our toenails in bright shades of pink, drank some fun fruity drinks, took pictures, and talked of course... you older girls are awesome, it's great to have you as role models! And you other freshman girls, y'all are so fun to hang out with!

And last but not least, Melissa, Shannon, and I on our humongous bed we shared during the whole week! I never felt so close to you girls... literally haha! Except for Shannon's occasional moaning and Melissa pulling on all the blankets, we slept great! Just kidding girls!

Well, too bad it's over, but hey there's always next year! Everyone should come, it's so awesome to get to spread God's Word around to lost people (even though all the other Spring-breakers were prolly scared when they saw us invade the beach and try to approach them lol!) and it's also a great way to get to know your fellow Campus Crusaders! The girls are awesome and I know I say it a lot but I mean it! And the guys definitely don't get enough credit, I was proud of saying y'all were our guys because you all pursue Godliness and purity so fervently and I am honored to have such great buddies!
