This is a sun hand-built out of clay and then afterwards glazed. This was for a school project in which we had to design our own civilization. My civilization worshiped the sun and this was a sun god that would go above the entrance door to a house.
This piece is a print making project. I carved 6 linolium blocks first in the basic shape of the eye. After I printed these with blue ink, I then carved out each blocks special feature. Then, once again I printed these on top of the original blue outline.
This is a pig that I first cut out of cardboard using an xacto knife, and then colored in with prismacolor markers. Now it stands up on my bookcase in my room.
