HMS St Briac (2,291t) was a Fleet Air Arm Target vessel. It was requisitioned from the Southern Railway/British Transport Commision.
On 12 March 1942 HMS St Briac hit a mine and sank off the Aberdeen coast with the loss of 43 of the crew.
Alexander is commemorated at the Lowestoft Naval Memorial panel 8 column 3.
