Thomas Alfred Crawford (B2727)
Thomas Alfred Crawford served in the Royal Australian Naval Reserve.

Thomas was an
Able Seaman on board the Cruiser HMAS Sydney when she caught and engaged a German armed commerce raider. Both ships were sunk in the ensuing battle and Thomas was among the casualties.

Able Seaman Thomas Alfred Crawford is commemorated at the Plymouth Naval Memorial, panel 60, column 2.
