Peter was a Flight Engineer with 78 Squadron flying Halifax bombers.
On the 25 March 1944 Sergeant Peter John Sprague Crawford failed to return from a sortie and is buried in Les Hautes-Rivieres Communal Cemetery, Grave 1.
