Well it's 2005 and i am finally back to the baja build. a month ago i replaced all the brake pads, brake adjusters and slave cylinders all the way around , replaced the front bearings and replaced the master cylinder. A few mothes ago i replaced the electronics consisting of the regulator with a bosche sealed unit, a new rebuilt bosche type 3 gererator, and a new battery. And just in the last week i replaced the points, plugs and plug wires with all new bosche components. I yanked the old mechanical fuel pump off and put on an empi fuel pump block off plate. And replaced it with a electric facet fuel pump, wired up into the ignition it works much better. I replaced the old rusty dual glassback headers with sweet new chrome zoomtube headers. Cleaned the sound up abit quiter but much much smoother.  After adjusting the valves and adjusting the carb out a little she is running perfectly, and sounds good.
I replaced the mud and snow tires on the black steel rims with Brand new custom steel wheels. Solid dished completely cromed with black rivets circumfrensing the outer edge. On the rear i have 10x15's with Bfg 295.50r15 radial tires and on the front i have 8x15's with Bfg 205.55r15's radial tires. Makes for a very stand out low profile look and makes the handling outstanding, at 30 psi all the way around it hugs the road with no problem, not to metion that with the smaller tire diameter in the rear the car has a bit more pep and get's better gas mialage.
