Chapter 21 - Poison

I've seen this place a thousand times
I've felt this all before
And every time you call
I've waited there as though you might not call at all

I know this face I'm wearing now
I've seen this in my eyes
And though it feels so great, I'm still afraid
That you'll be leaving anytime

We've done this once and then you closed the door
Don't let me fall again for nothing more

Don't say you love me unless forever
Don't tell me you need me, if you're not gonna stay
Don't give me this feeling, I'll only believe it
Make it real or take it all away

I've caught myself smiling alone
Just thinking of your voice
And dreaming of your touch, is all too much
You know I don't have any choice

Don't say you love me unless forever
Don't tell me you need me, if you're not gonna stay
Don't give me this feeling, I'll only believe it
Make it real or take it all away
Yeah Yeah Yeah

We've done this once and then you closed the door
Don't let me fall again for nothing more

Don't say you love me unless forever
Don't tell me you need me, if you're not gonna stay
Don't give me this feeling, I'll only believe it
Make it real or take it all away

Say you love me
Don't tell me you need me, if you're not gonna stay
Don't give me this feeling, I'll only believe it
Make it real or take it all away
Take it all away, take it all away

Ginny stepped through the door into the dark, lifeless, silent night. The dark was frightening. She didn't seem to care. The wind blew against her rose red cheeks. She heard thunder roaring through the air. There was no rain though. She seemed surprised that there was no rain. It made her even more uncomfortable. Her shining blue eyes stared down at the blue gown she was wearing. She remembered haven seen it before. She couldn't place it though.

She felt alive. Her heart sped at a rapid pace, but she stayed still. Her toes embedded in the sand, she smiled to herself. She always loved the ocean, loved the water. So pure. Her red hair flew behind her, the wind pushing it back and forth in a way that soothed all her fears. She walked through, and stopped just when she could feel the water reach her feet. The water was ice cold. Something Ginny would usually run away from because of its coldness. The blue gown blue forwards and backwards around her. She looked up at the sky.

The dark gray of the clouds and roaring of the thunder made her calm. She saw lightning flash, a brilliant streak of light, crashing down. The water swerved towards her. She carefully bent down and looked into the water. She saw nothing. Her reflection wasn't there. It made her afraid, and she quickly stood up, looking back at the lighthouse she had came from. Hair blew in her face as she looked. The lighthouse seemed as safe as the water. She could her it creaking back and forth. It made her stomach twist and turn. She felt as uneasy as possible.

She took her hands and swept her hair back, keeping her hand there until she bent down to the water again. She looked. There still was no reflection. Was she nothing?

The water rushed against her palms. It felt bitterly sweet, the water nice, but the deep frozeness of it making her twitch. She stood up again, she didn't know where she was, nor what she was doing there at all. She looked into the water and quickly gasped and ran through to the sand.

There was a person at the bottom of the water. She carefully crawled back to the water and looked down. The person was no longer there.

She wanted to get out of this place, she quickly turned to run, and saw a hole of black in front of her. She brushed her hand through it, to feel someone dragging her in. She quickly pulled her hand away, but the grasp was hard and she pulled away, falling into the water.

She shut her eyes tight, trying to get back up. She got to the top and quickly tried to swim back. It seemed so far away for some reason. It made her paranoid. She quickly tried to swim. She was about ther when she felt someone grasping her foot.

"No!" she yelled before going under. The person grasped her foot. His face was like porcelian, old and pale. She heard him mumble.

"The key is the girl," before he let go of her and floated back in the water. Her eyes widened as she felt two hands reach her shoulder.

She couldn't make anything out, and was too petrified from this guy who warned her, to remember someone was lifting her up.

As she reached the top of the water she choked water out from her mouth, her eyes stung violently as she looked up at a blurred vision. She blinked her eyes to see. The person's qualities starting to appear. She started coughing violently, and shaking. She was so cold. She felt crazy. What she had seen was crazy. Maybe she was too.

His blonde slicked back hair made her feel a warmness from the cold. The frown remained on her face. She could hear him calling her name as he grasped her.

"Draco..." she mumbled, coughing. She sobbed. A tear streamed down her face.

"I thought I... I thought I lost you." she coughed out.

He didn't say a word, he remained silent as he rushed her to the sand. He carried her onto the beach and laid her down. She appeared weak, almost lifeless. He didn't say anything. Because he knew she was okay, and because he had nothing to say. The amulet laid next to her, it glowing brightly. She didn't say a word. The silence felt comfortable to them at that point. Ginny trying to peice together what had just happened, how it happened. Why it happened.

Had it been Draco grasping her from the hole?

She coughed again, as she sat herself up slowly, Draco putting his arms to support her from falling back down. She put her face down on his shoulder gently, the coughing stopped. He felt her shaking violently. They need to leave.

He looked up at the gray sky, lightning striking, thunder deafening his ears. They need to leave. He looked over at her.

"Ginny, we have to go." he said.

He carefully rose to his feet and lifted her up. She had regained some of her strength to lift herself up slowly, but was still trembling with fear. He carefully took her hand, his hand against her back, and they went through the portal.

Observation
GINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's basically the expression I got from a lot of people who sent me feedback. This kind of showed a little more of what was happening, what could happen. And that I wasn't too afraid to kill a lead. Now, ain't that horrible? I mentioned her eyes a lot, didn't you notice? The color of her eyes are all about what she's feeling. They turn black, blue, etc... many people wondered why but nobody ever asked but you'll find out in time.
