�It's probably something I ate� She told me but I didn't buy it.
Even though I had to go to work I could still take care of her. Until I got that stupid phone call from my boss telling me I had to go on a bussines trip to meet with one of our clients. Apparently she had specifically requested for me to meet with her. She was one of those beautiful women with long legs, tiny waist and perfect face. Usually in this situation most guys would love to jump into bed with her. But in this particular situation the tables were turned. She was the one who wanted to jump into bed with me. I of course wasn't interested. But you can probably imagine Britney's face when she saw her picture and I told her I had to go on a trip with her for three days. She was trying to pretend it didn't bothered her the fact that her boyfriend would be going away for three days to some place with some beautiful girl. And even though she kept telling me she was fine and that she wanted me to go on that trip I knew that she wanted me to stay. I knew the minute I stared deep into her eyes. But that wasn't the only thing I knew. When I stared into her eyes I saw something that freaked me out. I saw fear. What I didn't knew was what she was scared of.
�You know I love you right� I asked when we sat in our bed a while later.
�Yeah I know�
�You know I'd never hurt you right�
�Yes I know�Just as I was about to speak she interrupted me.
�I'm not worried about you going away. I'm not worried about wheter you're gonna cheat on me or not because I know you'd never do that to me. I'm not worried about that� She whispered
�Then what are you worried about� I asked. She seemed surprised at my question
�Nothing� She said lowering her eyes
�You're a horrible liar you know that� I told her grabbing her chin and forcing her eyes up.
�I'm not worried J. Really�
�I want to know what's going on�
�What do you mean�
�I mean you've been feeling sick and it's not something you ate or the flu and you know it. You're worried about something and I wanna know what it is. Isn't our relationship supposed to be based on trust and honesty and love� I asked. I saw her eyes fill with tears. I slipped my arms around her and held her for a couple of minutes until she calmed down a bit.
�I didn't mean for this to happen� She cried
�You didn't mean for what to happen�
�I think I'm pregnant� She said after a few minutes of silence
�That's what you're worried about� I asked sweetly
�Yeah�
�Baby I love you. And if tomorrow you told me you're pregnant I would be the happiest man in the world and I mean that�
�But�
�Don't ever think that I wouldn't welcome a child. Becasue I love you and I'd love this child just as much as I love you�
�You would� She asked in that childish voice
�Always�
�So you're not sure if you're pregnant� I asked
�No. I bought a home pregnancy test but I was too scared to take it�
�Well do you wanna take it now� I said and she nodded. She went downstairs and took the pregnancy test. She went inside the bathroom and came out ten minutes later. She sat next to me and said
�We have to wait ten minutes� I nodded and took her hand in mine. The ten minutes flew by and we went inside the bathroom. I took the pregnancy test in my hands since Britney was too scared to look.
�I love you� I said after I saw the results
�Is it positive� She asked
�It's positive� I whispered
�So I'm pregnant�
�Well you could be. Those thing aren't always accurate�
�Yeah I should make an appoinment with my doctor�
�Ok but could you wait a couple of days. I want to go with you�
�Yeah I want you to come with me too�
We cuddled up with each other and fell asleep on our bed. My dreams were filled with pictures of what our future could be like.
