�Yes, I�m fine. I�m just glad that I�m going home.�

�We�ll be home in a bit B.� Rob said from the front.

She nodded. She then turned to Mike how had been awfully quiet.

�What�s wrong baby?� she asked him. He was sitting next to her staring the window.

�Mike?� She put her hand on his shoulder. �What�s the matter?�

�I don�t want dad to marry that woman.� He said bluntly as he continued to stare out the window.

�Did you tell him that you feel this way?�

He shook his head.

�Well I don�t know sweetie. I�m sorry I can�t do anything to help.� She said.

He turned and looked at her in the eye. Just by looking into his, she could read his thoughts.

�No�� she simply said.

�You are not trying to set me back up with him?� she said in more of a statement rather than a question. Instead of answering, he said nothing.

�Mom, we�re home.� Mark said as the car went into a sudden stop. He opened the door and stepped out, holding it open for her. Mike and Rob grabbed her two bags and walked towards the house.

She followed in tow, thinking about what her son wanted from her. She walked into the house and it was pitch black.

�Hey ya�ll, what�s up with��

�SURPRISE!�

Britney jumped back as the lights were flipped on. �You guys��

�Britney!!� She turned her head to see Joey running towards her from the back of the room.

She laughed. �Hey Joe.�

He opened his arms and enveloped her into a hug. �Welcome back girl.�

�It�s good to be back.�

She continued to hug the rest of the guys, who were oddly enough standing in a line, Justin being the last one. She really didn�t want to see him there, but she could help but melt as he looked at her.

�Hey.� He greeted, looking down at the ground.

�Hi.� She said as she walked to him. As she walked closer, she noticed Ashley not too far behind and stopped in her tracks.

�Brit, I need to talk to you.�

�I would love to stay and chat but I have to find my mom. We�ll talk later J.� she said as she started to walk away, but he grabbed her arm.

�Brit please�� he begged. She looked down at her arm and he released it, as she looked him back in the eye.

Walking off, she left him standing there. He looked down at the ground once more and started to walk back to Ashley. Once he stood in front of her, she hugged him.

�Justin, we need to talk.� She said and led him to an empty room.
