�Dad!� Mike exclaimed and ran to him.

�Hey�� he said as he let go of him. Mark walked up with Kelly and Ashley not too far behind.

�Hey Mark.� Mike said as he walked to him.

�How is she? Is she ok? Can I see her?� Justin asked.

�Whoa�calm down.� JC said as he put a hand on Justin�s shoulder. And that�s when Ashley made her presence known.

�Who is this �she� you�re talking about?�

�Who the hell are you?� Mike asked.

�I�m Ashley, your father�s fianc�.�

�What!� Mike, along with the rest of the guys, said in unison.

�Dad, you�re going to marry her!� Mike shouted. Before Justin could say anything, the doctor walked into the room.

�How is she doctor?� Justin asked as he walked up to the doctor.

�What�s your relation to the patient?�

�I�m her husband�I mean, ex-husband.�

�Oh, well she�s doing fine now. She�s still unconscious but there�s nothing you should worry about?�

�Can we see her?� JC asked.

�Yes you can, but only one at a time.� All the guys looked at Justin.

�Dad, you go ahead.� Mike said. That�s when Ashley finally noticed him.

�Who are you?�

�Mike.�

�But I thought that�� her voice faded as she pointed over to Mark.

�Long story.� Mark said. While this was going on, Justin had already gone into Britney�s room. He stepped closer to her bed and sat down in the chair next to it. He took her hand in his.

�Hey�� he said softly as he took his other hand and caressed her cheek.

�Never thought that I�d see you again.� Much less in a hospital bed.

Taking her hand, he held it in front of his face and kissed the back of it. He sighed and closed his eyes.

�Do you know how much I�ve missed you?�

He stood up from his seat and leaned down on to her bed, his face right next to hers. He chuckled.

�Remember the times we had together? We were so happy�� he paused. �I know I was. I wish that we still had those times. Being able to just see your face, your bright smile, and your beautiful eyes�I miss looking into them.� He said. He was on the verge of crying. He looked down at her and kissed her forehead.

�Open them up for me baby. Please.� He said as a lone tear ran down his cheek. He leaned his head down right next to hers and started to sob softly.


-Outside the room-


Without Justin�s knowledge, everybody was watching in through the window and were in shock. Well not everybody, just Ashley.

�What is that boy doing!� she yelled as she headed towards the door. Before her hand touched the doorknob, Mark, Mike, and JC stopped her.

�Let him be.� JC said, and she stormed off. They turned their attention back to the two in the room.


-Back in the room-


�Brit�come back to me.� he sighed. �I need you� he whispered into her ear. He trailed his lips across her cheek and finally settled onto her own. And to his surprise, she kissed back. He pulled away and say those eyes he longed to see.
