Hell is a place of extreme pain, and a place of physical reactions to that pain.
Matthew 13:41-42
41The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
You suffer thirst.
Mark 9:42-48
42"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea.
43"If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire,
44where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.]
45"If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame, than, having your two feet, to be cast into hell,
46where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.]
47"If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell,
48where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.
Mark is saying, if something causes you to stumble and sin, cut it off. It's better to lose both your hands then spend eternity in Hell.
You suffer heat.
Revelation 20:10
10And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Everybody in hell is in the lake of fire and brimstone after the judgment.

Luke 16:25
25"But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.
This says that when your in Hell you remember everything that happened when you were living on earth. You will remember being warned about Hell and LAUGHING at it saying "I'll take my chances." And you will be able to see Heaven and all it's glories and know that you will never be able to escape from Hell.
Hell is a place of utter hopelessness and darkness, there is no light, and there is no hope.
"The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." -Romans 6:23
John 14:6
