My Philips/Phillips Family goes back to Gabriel Phillips in Loudoun Co., Virginia who was married to Amelia Keele or Miliah Keele. This is A.M Philips as he was commonly known. His name stands for Andrew Marion Philips. He was the son of Isaac Philips and Margaret Headrick of Hawkins Co., Tennessee. Andrew was born in Hawkins Co., Tennessee but moved to Springdale, Arkansas in the 1860's. Andrew had at least two brothers that we know of and they were William and John. If you know anything of this family please email me. Andrew married Eliza Jane Goodman who was the daughter of Jesse Goodman and Margaret Couch of Hawkins Co., Tennessee. Andrew and Eliza had six children in Springdale, Arkansas.

Thomas Gladden Philips was the son of Andrew and Eliza. Thomas died of Tuberculosis in 1906 three months before his daughter Juanita was born. Thomas married Ida May Hager in 1904. Ida May Hager was the daughter of Zachariah Hager and Elizabeth Blackwell. Together they had two children Jesse and Juanita. My great Grandmother was Juanita Jane Philips.
 

This is Juanita Jane Philips as a baby. Juanita my great grandmother was born in 1906 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She died in 1998 at the age of 92. Jusnita was the daughter of Thomas Gladden Philips and Ida May Hager (seen above). The second picture is of Great grandma when she was older. Juanita married Clyde Delancy Sandlian and had one son Colby.
