March 27, 2000

Dear Grower:

On March 30 we will attend the Cranberry Marketing Committee meeting in Minneapolis. The purpose of the meeting is to further consider a volume regulation for the 2000 crop.

We must assume the Committee feels that there is a reasonable chance that a program will be adopted since I doubt that they wish to fail again. We will attend in order to look out for your interests to the best of our ability.

We will inform you as soon as we can just how any decision that is made will affect Decas and its growers. We will further inform you what we feel our strategy should be in growing and selling the 2000 crop in accordance with any decision the Cranberry Marketing Committee might make. Whether we choose to appeal the decision or live with the decision will need to be determined.

We will write you and/or call an immediate meeting, depending on circumstances, as soon as possible. We are hopeful that if the Committee decides to regulate, the regulation will include the concerns that we presented at the previous meeting and that we will present once again at the next meeting.

We would ask you to make your plans in the normal fashion for the new growing season, at least until we know more than we know now.

Sincerely,
