E-procurement and Mobile Commerce being the latest debatable topics at the World Business Environment at this moment, I had been lucky to get such a recent topic to develop my project. While working I had been able to get the concepts of E-procurement by reading BuySite of Beginners Version 6.5 and BuySite 6.5 User Guide developed by Commerce One. After getting a clear idea of E-procurement and Mobile Commerce, I started jotting some points on which I will be gathering information. For gathering information on various topics I searched the internet. After downloading various web pages, I took scraps of information and arranged them in my own words to bring it in the present state. At last some decorations had been done to make the project more presentable to its reader.
I had been quite fortunate to work at IBM (International Business Machine), Salt Lake Electronics complex, Kolkata from 7th July to 7th August as a Summer Trainee. During these one month period of my Summer internship period I had been able to work in hardcore business environments with professionals in these field like Koushik Ray, Amitabha Chatterjee, Dibyendu Chakraborty, Debashis Chaudhuri, Arka Ghosh, Partha Ghosh, Ankur Mukherjee, Shaon, Arindam and many others in Project Room 3 at the 5th floor of IBM. I am very grateful to Mrs. Indu Ranjan of IBM and my uncle Mr. Rahul Mitra of TISCO without whose constant support I could not have started this project.
At last but not the least I am very thankful to Mr. Koushik Ray for considering me eligible for this summer internship under him at IBM.
