Stories (no download necessary)
A Moment of Peace A story set in Korea, based on my wife's childhood. (Fall 1998)
A Village By A River The very embodiment of romantic longing. Originally comprising the first and last chapters of my first novel, the novel was a flop but I tried to salvage what I could. It's not perfect, but it has its moments. (Originally written Spring 1998, reassembled and edited Spring 1999)
Death of A UFOlogist Science-fiction horror. No, I don't do mushrooms. (Summer 1997)
The Labyrinth This fantasy piece has been, oddly enough, compared to the writings of Borges and Calvino. (Fall 1999)
A Tale of the Homeless Dead A story about a little boy and a homeless ghost. (Fall 1997)
