the second poem that i wrote while in philly: describes my thoughts about not just one person, but of many people made into one person.
Twice in one night
Have to fight the fight
Don’t step over me
Even if you have to pee
Turn that light off
Be quiet like a moth
Quit what you’re doin
And get your ass movin
It can wait till tomorrow
No whimper or sorrow
I hear this music inside
It tells me not to hide
It pounds deep in my ears
Almost drives me to tears
That beat keeps on goin
Like a river that is flowin
Wake up next morning
And with out a warning
You throw your life away
Like a silver coin in a tray
Pass your little body around
Faster than a merry go round
It’s what you do that matters
Your foot steps are little patters
Bounce your head to the beat
And rock your body in your seat
I don’t want to hear a sound
Close my eyes and go down
I see that glaring light again
It shows me all your pain
It’s not just a game to me
It’s the only thing that I see
Like the wax in my ear
The feeling is always here
And it feels just right
We don’t have to fight
Baby I am here for you
I’m the one that is true
Your face is right here
And I only want you near
Hear yourself giggle
All you do is wiggle
Back to bed again you go
This time it’s a little slow
Too much of a good time
Of that drink with a lime
Lay you gently down in bed
Put a pillow under your head
Tuck you in nice an snug
Like that bug in a rug
Close your eyes from the war
That is outside of your door
Off to dream land once more
My life is rich and not poor
You’re in my arms tonight
This time I got the light
And it’s shining very bright
Cus it’s twice in one night
it's another random thought poem, that kinda rhymes
