This incredible Russian Arabian stallion goes to prove what the best of Egyptian, Polish and Crabbet lines can do when they are brought together.  His name is the Russian for 'gold', because as far as Craiglathie is concerned, he is worth his weight in it!!  His sire Oman, is out of the incredible Russian bred Muscat. 

Muscat was rated Elite in the Russian studbook and was the first Arabian ever to win the Arabian Triple Crown of Championships.  His dam is out of the equally highly bred Balaton who is out of *Menes, another gem from the world famous Tersk stud and not only sire of countless champions.  Balaton is currently the chief stud at Tersk and is out of the prominent Aswan daughter Panagia.

Strength, grace, presence and dignity mark this impeccably bred stallion.  He has wonderful manners, natural high hock action and wonderful floating paces. He is a definite contender for any halter title and has shown great flair in sporthorse disciplines, especially hunter/jumper. He will be used primarily as a stud but we are also anxious to see how he does in the showring as so far he has shown great potential!
