| Dionysus was bought at an auction from an Akhal-Teke stud that had declared bankruptcy. I know nothing of her background but when I saw those lively intelligent eyes I fell in love and had to have her. And since that day she has never let me down! She is eager and keen and is very competitive. She is also brave and immensely loyal. She is an extremely loving mare but can be very stubborn somtimes. She loves jumping and seems to have a natural instinct for angles and take offs whichlead to me to do some research into her background as she was far too talented to be from a commonplace sire. To my surprise her sire turned uot to be a direct descendant of that incredible champion Akhal-Teke stallion Samarkand! Her dam also has Absent blood from her great grandsire! I love working with Di and will definitely be up to intermediate standard by the end of the season. She is a perfectionist wth a competitve edge which will make her unbeatable in the show ring. | ||||||||||
