Fionn's name (pronounced fyuhn) means bright and fair in gaelic and to look at this stunning horse with another impeccable pedigree it is easy to see why.  O'Learys Irish Diamond is one of America's foremost RID stallions.  He has received the highest scores of any RID under inspection and to our delight, has passed these attributes onto Fionn.  O'Leary also has the best jumping pedigree of almost any stallion of any breed in America.  In Fionn's blood is also Gildawn Diamond, a legendargy stud and one of the top rated RID's in the world.  Fionn's dam was chosen because of her success as an eventer. Her pedigree is remarkable and  her perfomance on the CCI**** circuit with the Irish Eventing Team is incredible.  She was undefeated for three years at both Burghley and Badminton. 

Fionn is one of Craiglathie's most important young horses and so far he hasn't let us down.  He has proved to be both eager and willing with tons of heart.  He puts his complete trust in his rider and will attempt anything you ask him to do wholeheartedly.  He is already jumping 3'6' even though he is so young.  We expect a lot from this young horse so he is being brought on slowly and sympathetically and is guaranteed to be future contender for any major eventing competition.
