I couldn't resist breeding my Anglo-Arabian mare Firenze with my RID stallion Craiglathie Tiarnach. Tiarnach has such a wonderful pedigree and has really been proving his worth in the showring. Firenze is already an Honour Book Champion with barely 6 months of showing behind her. Although Firenze is being regularly competed I couldn't resist breeding to her even though she is by no means a broodmare. I wanted to see the result of a stud with a proven pedigree crossed with a mare with a proven show record. Aoibheann is the result. A clever, playful little foal that will no doubt prove her breeding in the showring in years to come. Aoibheann is the name of several legendary Irish princesses, what could be better for a daughter of a lord?
