| Aedammair (pronounced EE-de-mare) is the gaelic for fire and we hope that this bright spark will never stop burning! This girl's dam has both Clover Hill who was her sire and Diamonds are Trumps who was her dam's sire and out of King of Diamonds. We decided to try a Pride of Shaunlara foal in our breeding programme. Pride of Shaunlara is an RID that was brought over to America. His offspring have always had large, careful jumps, enormous amounts of stamina and great presence in the show ring. Most of his offspring have excelled competitively. One memorable horse was Suma's Murphy's Law out of Pride of Shaunlara. He went on to sire a Champion Show Hunter, a grade C jumper, an amateur Grand Prix winner and is also the sire of the four year old winner of the Future Event Horse League qualifier at Tattersalls. Needless to say Craiglathie was very impressed with this stallion's and his progeny's achievements. We felt that we had lots of Clover Hill and King Of Hearts blood that could be enhanced with Pride Of Shaunlara blood. Aedammair was given her name because as soon as she is under saddle she is on fire. She has a small problem with her brakes and is fiercely competitive which makes her really stand out at shows. There is nothing this talented mare cannot do. Strength, stamina, speed and scope; she has it all! |
