Another incredible mare to add to Craiglathie.  A direct descendant of the famous Fakirpelvan line, we have huge hopes for Wicked, both as an eventer and later on as a broodmare.  Fakirpelvan was crowned Champion of Breed in 1969 and is a full brother of the notablely famous stallion Gelishikli.  Fakirpelvan was also the sire of Penteli.  Penteli was one of the most successful showjumpers to ever come out of Europe.  He was small for a showjumper, standing a mere 15.2hh but that didn't stop him jumping over 2.12m or consistently being placed in World Cup, USSR Championships or similar competitions of equally high standard and calibre.  He was also considered a more efficient jumper than the well-known Absent.

We aspire to reach the same dizzy heights with this lovely mare.  Wicked is not the easiest ride, but she does have a powerful jump and an amazing turn of speed.  She is extremely independant and riding her is more of a condescension on her behalf than an equal partnership.  However, this personality trait also means she is fiercely competitive and will give her utmost for any competition whether a small country affair or a large county show.  I have huge hopes for Wicked.  Her fiery nature and streak of stubborness means getting to the top won't be easy but with plenty of schooling and a firm but sympathetic rider I have no doubts that in time this mare will come to excel in her field as an eventer.
