| Elly is a funny horse and arrived to me as an accident when a friend discovered her Akhal-Teke had twins! He has the natural grace and beauty of any desert horse and is a lot hardier than he looks! Elly is turning out to have the makings of a fine eventer. He is a good mover, has heaps of stamina and a lovely careful jump. Elly's main problem is his confidence. He is a very shy and timid little gelding and needs lots of encouragement. He gets scared and anxious if you neglect him for too long and needs lots of attention to help build up his confidence. He is a very sweet horse with a nice gentle temperement but has a tendency to be somewhat flighty. I am hoping to have Elly competing in top eventing competitions in a few years time. However, in the nearer future I am attempting to establish his breed in HF by entering him in lots of halter classes (and giving him showground experience) and am competing towards novice events. | ||||||||||||
