| Sakura is the person who let the Clow Cards out of their prison book. She is one of the two cardcaptors who have to get all the cards back. She uses her wand to capture the cards and to use their power. She had a crush on Julian for the first part of the series, but then starts to fall for Li. |

| Li is the second Cardcaptor to appear on the show. He really didn't seem to like Sakura, but starts to fall for her later. He was always afraid of Julian and ran away every time he showed up. Li wanted to take the Clow Cards from Sakura but they soon became friends. |

| Kero is the lovable little stuffed animal with wings. He was supposed to guard the Clow Book and make sure the cards didn't escape, but he took a thirty year nap and didn't wake up until after Sakura let the cards escape. Once all of the element cards were captured, Kero was able to turn into his true form, Kerobaros. He became a large lion with wings and armor. |

| Meilin is a student from Hong Kong, the same place as Li is from. Li and Meilin grew up together and when they were young they both trained to be cardcaptors. Meilin never did get any magic, though. She likes Li alot and gets angry at Sakura because they are starting to get along. Meilin appears to be a self centered bossy girl, but she is actually very nice and just doesn't want to lose Li. |

| Madison and Sakura are best friends, and do everything together. Madison is also the only person Sakura told about the Clow Cards. Madison enjoys making different battle costumes for Sakura to wear while she captures the cards. Meilin also likes to tape Sakura as she captures the cards. Madison and her mother are very wealthy and Madison gets sample toys from her mother's store. She is also always being driven home by her mother's body guards. |
