How to love a Black Woman
The first thing you must understand There's no easy way to love a black woman You've got to figure her out; learn what she's about And know she's someone you can't live without Then kill her with kindness; shower her with sweetness It's hard for her to give herself to you So be appreciative of the little things she tries to do Let her know she can confide in you And in return she wont hide things from you So be supportive; be her friend not her foe When she makes a mistake don't say i told you so Be understanding not demanding, let her unwind She faces a world of rain, so be her sunshine Don't get too cozy in the comfort zone You'll take her for granted and end up being alone Keep love exciting and new; go the extra mile Keep finding new ways to make her smile Remember to be sexy because without a doubt She wants to be proud when she takes you out Don't let yourself go don't forget about you Love yourself and she will love you too Don't smother the woman let her breathe The tighter you hold on, the faster she will leave And when you love her, LOVE her all the way down Don't be afraid to explore her pound for pound If you don't give her what she needs to feel I guarantee you someone else will Be honest, Be patient and demand respect And a wonderful black woman is what you will get Show her your pride Stand by her side Let God be her guide and LOVE WILL ABIDE
The second 10 commandments
Thou shalt 1.Exercise thy body A famous physician once wrote, "If exercise came in a pill bottle, it wold be the most prescribed medicine of all. 2.Exercise thy mind "If you don't use it, you will loose it. Read. Write. Go back to school. Exchange ideas. Be creative. Be reflective. Learn something new everyday. Share what you learn with others 3. Exercise thy spirit Read inspirational and/or spiritual works. Don't be afraid to be open and loving. Give and allow others to give to you. 4. Exercise thy willpower Examine your habits- the ones you want to develop, the ones you want to change. Then, set goals and make these changes. 5. Have a Happy Heart Laugh. Live. Create. Share surprises. Help others find joy and purpose in their lives. 6. Play Schedule time for pure play, and find ways throughout your day to have fun 7.Eat, drink and be Merry - Sensibly Don't eat or drink or do anything ese to excess. Don't smoke cigarettes or use harmful drugs. Don't take stupid chances. 8. Give up Guilt, Regret and Depression Let go of the past and move on! Decide whats wrong (not who's wrong) and take action. 9. Fear not the future The future's not totally in your control, but if you take care of today, most of the future will take care of itself 10. Live Now Learn from the past, plan for the future, and live in the present. Pursue and preserve healthy relationships; you become like those you are with.

LORD WHY DID YOU MAKE ME BLACK
A WOMAN'S PRAYER Now i lay me down to sleep I pray for a man who is not a creep One who's handsome smart and strong And will never do me wrong One who thinks before he speaks One whose promises he keeps Who pulls out my chair and opens my door Carries my things and begs to do more I pray that this man loves me no end And never attempts to hit on my friends And as i kneel and pray by my bed I look at the shit head you sent me instead!!!! Amen
Lord... Lord... Why did you make me black? Why did you make someone the world would hold back? Black is the colour of dirty clothes, of grimy hands and feet Black is the colour of darkness, of tired beaten streets Why did you give me thick lips, a broad nose and kinky hair? Why did you create someone who creates the hatred stare? Black is the colour of the bruised eye when someone gets hurt Black is the colour of darkness, the colour of dirt Why is my bone structure so thick, my bones and cheek so high? Why are my eyes brown and not the colour of the sky? Why do people think i'm useless? How come i feel so used? Why do people see my skin and feel so abused? Lord i just don't understand...... Why is it about my skin? Why is it some people hate me and not want to know the person within Black is what people are 'Labeled' when others want to keep them away Black is the color of the shadows cast... Black is the end of the day Lord you know my own people mistreat me and you know that aint right They don't like my hair, they don't like my skin They say i'm too dark or too light!! Lord, don't you think its a time to change? Why don't you redo creation and make everyone the same? God's Reply Why did you make you black? Why did i make you me black? I made you from the color of coal from which beautiful diamonds are formed I made you from the color of oil, the black gold which keeps people warm Your color is the same as the dark soil that grows the food you need... Your color is the same as the black stallion and panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed All colors of the heavenly rainbow can be found throughout every nation When all these colours are blended you become my greatest creation Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool what a beautiful creature is he I am the shepherd who watches them, i will ALWAYS watch over thee You are the color of the midnight sky, i put a glitter in your eyes There is a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain That's why your cheeks are so high!! You are the color of the dark clouds from the hurricanes i create in September I made your lips so full and thick so when you kiss...... they will remember Your stature is strong, your bone structure thick to withstand the burden of time The reflection you see in the mirror, that image that looks back, that is MINE So get off your knees and look in the mirror and tell me what you see? I didnt make you in the image of darkness, I made you in the image of ME

I'm Sorry... For all the mean things I might have said. I'm Sorry... For all the things I did or didn't do. I'm Sorry... If I ever ignored you. I'm Sorry... If I ever made you feel bad or put you down. I'm Sorry... If I ever thought I was bigger or better than you. I Luv You... Don't ever forget that! Through bad times and good, I'll always be here for you. I am Sorry... For everything wrong I've ever done. I'm writing this because what if tomorrow never comes? What if you never get to say good-bye or give a BIG hug to the people you care about? What if you never get to say I'm sorry or I love you? Because what if tomorrow never comes? I LUV YOU! FRIENDS ALWAYS!!!

I'm Sorry
Suppose one morning you never wake up. Do all your friends know you love them? I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week and I wondered If I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed to be rekindled or three words needing to be said. Sometimes "I love You" can heal & bless. Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back. You would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do. Just in case I die tomorrow....I LOVE YA!!!

I am thankful I can walk there are those who have never taken their first step. I am thankful I can see the beauty all around me there are those whose world is always dark. I am thankful I can hear music playing; there are those who entire life has been spent in silence. I am thankful my heart can be broken; there are those who are so hardened they cannot be touched. I am thankful I can move about freely and express my beliefs; there are those who live in constant fear. I am thankful I have been loved; there are those for whom no one has ever cared. I am thankful I can work; there are those who have to depend on others for even their most basic needs. I am thankful to wake up in the morning and take a deep breath of fresh air; there are those who never got that far. There are those who have not been so abundantly blessed as I. I am thankful for the opportunity to help others
