RPG Adventure Game

Darkness started life in 1985 as a text based adventure game, written on a Tandem fault tolerant mainframe, using Transaction Application Language (TAL).

It was transferred to a large Magnetic Tape and eventually to a 5.25 floppy disc which meant PC access. But there it languished ...

Life was breathed into Darkness in the mid 90's when I converted it to C++ using Borland Turbo C++ and later Borland 4.51 C++.

I always wanted some basic graphics and menu structure. This occured when Squiggs introduced me to Visual Basic 6 in 2001.
