I am amazed at this vast list of surnames that have been sent in - representing lots of researchers working in this small county. Please don't be too shy to contact those working the same names you are - remembering Craig County is a small world indeed. Likewise, send me your new surnames or be added to the list of those working these surnames.

Hint: don't be hung up on exact spellings of surnames. For example, in the records my surname is spelled both Milton and Melton depending on what the person thought he heard on that day. So look for similarly spelled surnames - limiting yourself to exact spellings in research is a mistake.
