My hand-made Black Forest Bears are created using only high-quality material, mostly mohair, imported from my native Germany. I stuff my bears using a variety of fillings from wood shavings to polyfiber and sometimes I add glass beads to give a nice weighty feel. I love experimenting with patterns and new materials, so all my Black Forest Bears are all one of a kind.
I teach Bear Classes for children and they love to learn how to make their own heirloom artist bears.
Black Forest Bears have been shown on TV, and in teddy bear magazines and I am honored to say that my bears have won many prizes. I am also pleased to say that my bears have found homes all over the world.
