I started making bears and dolls when my children were small, but it wasn't until after they were grown that I began to get creative and make collectibles.
My bears range in size from 2" to 24". In January 2004, I made my first miniature bear and was instantly addicted to minis and the challenges that they present. Currently, I am making more minis than large bears.
I believe that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well, so my bears and dolls are all made from high quality materials with careful attention paid to every detail, and they are not ready to leave home until they have developed their own unique personality.
I am a self taught bear and doll artist and I have spent my entire life sewing and being creative with arts and crafts of all kinds. I also belong to the Canadian Doll Artists Association.
My bears have been featured in magazines such as Teddy Bear & Friends and Teddy Bear Review. Two of my gargoyles were purchased by a movie production company to be used as props in a teenage werewolf's bedroom for the movie Gingersnaps 3.
