I live in the beautiful Ruby Mountains in Northern Nevada with my husband and two teenage daughters, along with our three dogs, four horses, two cats, one bird and a gold fish. I have been making bears for about 2 years now. Before I began making bears I was sewing everything. I have been sewing and crafting most of my life. I have even made a wedding dress for a friend that took 10 yards of Ivory Satin and Silk. I have won local awards for my rag dolls, and quilting.
I began collecting teddy bears as a young person and have always loved them!
All of my bears are made from hand drawn patterns created by me. Each bear is a unique one of a kind creation. Many hours are spent developing patterns and creating each bear.Each and every creation has it's own personality that comes from the creation itself.
All of my bears are five way jointed with disc and cotterpins. I use the finest materials available to create each bear, from Mohair to genuine fur, and upholstery velvets and plush. My bears range in size from 10" to Under 3". I prefer the smaller bears myself, but enjoy experimenting with larger bears as well. All of my smaller bears come with their own Tin with original art created just for them. All of my bears come with a swing tag and card of authenticity with my signature and brief description of the bears.
Each bear has my initials on them either on the foot or
on their bottoms.
I have been selling by bears on Ebay for about
1 1/2 years and my bears now live as far away as Tasmania, Canada, and all over the United States.
