My name is Lisa Bunting Thoms and I have been making teddy bears professionally since 1997.
My love of hand crafting bears and other animals came from my grandmother who taught me to sew and make my own patterns at an early age.
My mother was also very artistic and encouraged me to see everyday items in a whole different way. Those everyday items often ended up as the
basis for my next project.
My first bears were made under the name
Bunting Thoms Teddybaren until recently
when I changed the name to Twincubs as my
husband and I were blessed with the
birth of our identical twin girls. We have another daughter who is a year older; she is a big help and entertains her younger sisters so I can
continue to sew.
