Floppy Disk Holder
Supplies: 1 sheet of 7 mesh plastic canvas in black (You can use whatever color of plastic canvas and yarn you like to go with your decor) Worsted wieght yarn, 4 ply ( I used Red Heart yarn.) Colors: 312 Black, 4376 Burgundy Fleck, 316 Soft White, and Grey ( the grey was just some old yarn I had laying around, you can use floss as well). #16 tapestry needle Stitches Used: Tent Stitch Backstitch Overcast Stitch Whipstitch Instructions: 1. Follow the picture chart, cut out peices. 2. Work the pattern on the front peice first. Do grey backstitches last. ( The grey backstitches was done in 2ply yarn that I had just split the 4ply yarn myself) 3. Whipstitch all 4 peices to the the bottom, then whipstitch the sides together. ( I whipstitched a side and then overcast one of the top until they were all finished.) (You can overcast the tops before you whipstitch the sides together if thats what you prefer.) 4. Overcast the top of all 4 peices. Pattern |
