| This is my curbside garden. It was built when the contractor who built our front path decided to dump all the extra dirt at the end of the driveway because he was too lazy to haul it away! It may sound like a disaster, but it turned out to be a delight. It's my only full sun garden and that makes it unique. Come & take a look. |

| My grandmother had irises by the side of her house. The purple bearded iris were my first, given to me by a friend. I give these away all of the time. The yellow came from a neighbor, and the Cherub on the far left was purchased through the Rochester Civic Garden Club. Irises will bloom best if planted in full sun. Cranesbill (below, left) is one of my most popular plant because it grows larger each year and I give small plants away to neighbors. |

| The daylily (center) appeared out of nowhere. I transplanted to the front garden. It blossoms in the spring, and again in the fall. What a treat. The 'Autumn Joy' sedum (above, right) was a great addition and the grass in the foreground provides nice contrast. The color, as the name implies, appears in the fall. The balloon flowers (below, left) were planted in 2002, but really blossomed in '03. My lupines (below, right) had a showy display in June that all the neighbors commented on. |
