About us |

A group of visionary local residents in the Island of Bohol, Philippines, as well as Boholanos residing and working outside of the island formed the Professionallybohol Group in May, 2003 as a civic action group.
The group's primary concern is the upliftment of the poor conditions of the children in the island of Bohol.
Operation Plan "TUMBAYUNGAY", a local word that means "voluntary helping one another" is currently on implementation by sending poor children to school, providing medical and financial assistance in times of calamities.
The group also organized livelihood seminars for jobless parents and equip them to become productive citizens. |

Insurgency problems has deeply affected our children in many areas of the island where they suffer of malnutrition, deseases, and illiteracy as the government troops continue fighting the rebels.
Our children are exposed to this condition and we have to save them from risks brought about by these sporadic clashes. They have nowhere to go and we have to give them a better place to live in.
