I made this and it wasn't til I was just about finished that I realized I didn't like it nearly as much as I thought I would. There were just too many "holes" for my taste and it didn't hang right when I put it on so after taking pics I frogged it and am now making a different shawl from the yarn. I still think it's a great design but it just wasn't for me.
If you decide to make this, I would recommend using a yarn that holds it's shape and doesn't stretch too much. I used TLC's Amore yarn and I think that's one of the reasons I didn't like the finished project. It's very stretchy and when I put it on it just hung really low and there were more holes than anything...
