Sunburst Dish Towel Set


This is one of the first dish towel sets I have made. This is what happens when you don't buy all of the yarn needed for a project at the same time and get different color lots. I had no idea until I had finished that one skein was a pale yellow and the other had a much brighter yellow. Oh well, the person I am giving this to won't mind I'm sure!!!

I got the pattern from the Leisure Arts Booklet "Lots More Wash & Wipes" Booklet. It's using a basic DC Cross Stitch pattern and was super simple to make. I modified the dish cloth a little and even though there was not a pattern for the Towel in there I used the same principle as the dish cloth, decreasing at the top and adding a button made from the same yarn as the towel.
