This is my first crochet project ever! My aunt taught me how to do a granny square and recommended that I just keep going and going instead of doing several little squares. This really helped my speed and accuracy quite a bit. I made several small mistakes, however, it turned out great in the end. I used simple ww Red Heart yarn and changed yarn colors every 1-2 skeins. This is a great beginner project!
